Founding

How the company started

G R Sales was established in Karnal in 1984 to distribute safety footwear and protective equipment to organisations in north India.TODO Founder name(s) and the original trade.

Quality assurance

How incoming stock is verified

G R Sales does not manufacture. Its responsibility is to confirm that what leaves the warehouse is the certified product the buyer specified. The process below applies to every inbound consignment.

  1. Certificate check on receipt
    Each inbound consignment is matched to the manufacturer’s certificate of conformity for the applicable standard — IS 15298 (safety footwear), IS 2925 / EN 397 (helmets), EN 166 (eye protection), EN 388 (gloves), EN 361 (harnesses) and IS 9473 (respirators). A consignment without a valid certificate is not booked into saleable stock.
  2. Marking verification
    Items are inspected for the physical marks the standard requires — ISI mark with CM/L licence number, CE mark, standard number and the protection-class code (for example S1 / S1P / S3 on footwear, or the four-digit EN 388 performance rating on gloves). Marks are compared against the certificate; a mismatch holds the lot.
  3. Sample inspectionTODO

  4. Lot recordTODO

    Where a tender specifies a standard, test report or sample approval, the requirement is checked against the certificate and, where required, a sample is submitted for buyer approval before bulk dispatch.
